I have 4 pet chickens, the house is always full of eggs, and as it is nearly Easter. So I thought I would have a go at colouring them.
I think they turned out OK, though they aren’t as bright as I wanted.

Mama Kathy came to visit us for a week. She lives in New Mexico, so this is the first time we’ve met.
She’s been teaching me how to do encaustic paintings, which is where you paint with wax and then burn it with a blow torch over and over again.
Super fun… but I’m not very good. I think I’m starting to get the hang of it now though. So you may or may not see more in the future.
